LAUSD Now Has Text-a-Tip

5/21/2016

The Los Alamitos Unified School District is now offering Text-a-Tip, a non-emergency reporting program designed to make our district an even safer place for our students.

Text-a-Tip allows users to confidentially report important campus safety concerns to addressed promptly by school officials.  Texts will be reviewed and routed to the appropriate school administrator.  All incoming text messages are confidential.

Intentionally false or misleading texts will be taken very seriously and may result in formal school discipline and/or law enforcement investigation.  Please note, Text-a-Tip is a non-emergency reporting program.  If you ever have an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
You can use the number (562) 344-5498 to confidentially report on issues like:
  • Bullying and/or harassment
  • Drug posession
  • Flight / pre-fight information
  • Graffiti / vandalism
  • Safety concerns about a friend
  • Suspicious activity
  • Thefts
  • Threats to campus safety
